The Ampy marketplace is a prime location to buy, sell, and explore Ampy collectibles. In this article, we will explain in detail how to sell your collectible on the Ampy marketplace.
Prerequisites:
Before starting, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Have an account on the Ampy platform (if you haven’t already, visit https://www.ampy.co/en to create one)
- Have a digital wallet compatible with the Ampy platform (a tutorial is available here)
- Own a The Fool collectible (a tutorial is available here)
Connect your Digital Wallet:
To sell your collectible on Ampy, you must first connect your compatible digital wallet to the platform. To do this, click on your username in the top right corner of the page and select “Connect Wallet” from the dropdown menu.
Choose “MetaMask” if you have downloaded this digital wallet.
Select and open your collectible:
Once your wallet is connected, go to the “My items” section by clicking on your username, still in the top right corner, then choosing “My items” from the dropdown menu.
Browse your collection to find the collectible you want to sell. Click on it to open its dedicated page.
Listing your collectible for sale:
On your collectible’s page, you will see a “List for sale” button. Click on it to start the listing process. A popup window will appear, prompting you to set the details of the sale.
Setting the sale details:
Enter a fixed price for your collectible in digital currency (here in $MATIC tokens from the Polygon blockchain). You can choose the duration for which the offer will appear (7 days, 3 months, or 6 months). Please indicate the price at which you want to sell your collectible in MATIC.
If you don’t know the conversion rate of MATIC to dollars, don’t panic; this link (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/polygon) will allow you to see the current MATIC price in dollars (or euros):
Once this information is filled in, click on “List for sale.”
Confirming the sale details:
Before finalizing the listing of your collectible, take the time to review the sale details. If everything looks good, click on “List for sale.” A popup window will then prompt you to confirm the operation in your digital wallet. Confirm the transaction and wait for it to be processed.
Your collectible is listed for sale:
As soon as the transaction is confirmed, your collectible will be listed for sale on the Ampy marketplace. You can monitor offers and bids by accessing your account and checking the status of your collectible.
