That’s great, you’ve already reached Level 1 of the connection between Ampy and Spotify by linking your 2 accounts! This is great news, because from now on, you can view your Tops 10 Artists and Songs on 3 distinctive timelines (up to the last 12 months), and share amazing visuals with your friends on social networks! But the experience doesn’t stop there.

Indeed, if you’d like to benefit from your entire streaming history on these services, and see the number of streams and other surprises appear, Level 2 — the final stage of the Spotify experience on Ampy — is just waiting for you! All you have to do is import your extended streaming files onto the platform, by following the 7 steps below:

1. On your Spotify account, go to the Privacy settings and scroll down the page to the “Download your data” section

2. Uncheck the box under the 1st “Account data” frame on the left, and check the box under the 2nd “Extended streaming history” frame on the right

3. Confirm your choice by clicking on the green “Request data” button

4. You will shortly receive a verification email from Spotify, that you can accept by clicking on the green “Confirm” button

5. Wait then for Spotify to prepare your streaming files (this may take up to 30 days)

6. When the data is available, you will receive a second email from Spotify inviting you to download a .zip file, which you can do by clicking on the green “Download” button

7. Finally, return to the Imports area to upload the zip.file from the folder on your computer where you downloaded it

Now, just follow the progress of the imports through the status of each .json file from the .zip, and when the last one is in “Success” and displays the number of streams imported, you’ll be ready to take advantage of all the cool features of Ampy. Well done, you made it. Enjoy!
